Our sixth (maybe seventh) annual Christmas baking event with the Skutelys was this past weekend... we sure came home with lots of treats!! On the docket: gingerbread cookies (putzy but adorable!), chocolate-covered pretzels (one batch ended up slightly smokey in flavor--??), chocolate Mexican wedding cakes, a HUGE batch of the Andes chocolate mint cookies and the tried-and-true favorite that we can finally make: peanut butter blossoms! Now that Ella's allergy-free, we're plunging in to the great world of peanuty goodness. The dads played with the kids while we ran around in the kitchen, and the monkeys helped with the loading of sprinkles when needed. Another great weekend with these awesome friends, bad coughs and colds and all. (o:
