We got the pop-up tent out for the first time this summer, and drove it over to Hudson, WI for a last minute camping overnight trip. The kids loved it! We spent the day hopping around the playgrounds, looking for animals (saw four deer and one chipmunk) and viewing the dam. The weather was overcast and a little cool... perfect, in my opinion!
The evening brought Paul's brother, Ken and his family (Kristin, Lauren and Nate) out for a dinner of weanies and 'mallows over the campfire. Other than the fact that our campsite was right next to the playground (fun during the day, WAY too loud at night!), we had an ideal time. The kids slept well and everyone stayed cozy in the the camper. We look forward to using it more this summer!
