Lately we have been finding reptilian adventures at our nearby zoos... the Como Zoo and the MN Zoo. No matter how often we go, there's always something new to see and learn about the delightful turtle and tortoise.
Here at the Como Zoo in the Tropical Encounter area
we were up close and personal with some huge turtles.
On another visit to Como Zoo, Grammy was with us (thank you!) and we found the giant tortoise sculpture fun.
This one was at the MN Zoo. Gotta love an animal you can ride!
Turtle egg??? No, no. This was beside the tortoises; it's an ostrich egg. Phew!
