What a weekend! During our visit to Eau Claire we celebrated four --yes, four!-- birthdays. We got to Phyllis' and gave her a very belated gift, and had a nice evening there. The next morning was brunch at my dad's... Aunt Stacy, Uncle Mike and cousin Zach were there, too. The kids get such a kick out of "Zach Attack."
After attempting naps (Owen failed miserably), we headed to the Skutley home for a combo party for Ben (3) and Anna (1). We really look forward to these parties for a little time with their sweet and sassy families. (o: Tim's sister and I get along famously and chatted away over a sink full of dishes (much to Tim and Katie's chagrin!). They had two cakes -- an adorable cupcake for Anna and a fire engine for Ben. A kids dream come true!
Sunday morning brought Paul's 34th birthday... we opened a few pressies before church with his mom, then sang over some homemade apple pie (thanks, Grandma!). After we returned home, my sister and Scott stopped by with a gift, too. Thanks, everyone!
