Vegetable Town

With this gorgeous and unseasonably warm weather, we're itching for some gardening. Paul took the kids out one afternoon last week and started the planting. So far we have carrots, lettuce, zucchini & onions. The pea trellis was built two days ago, and today some peppers and tomatoes joined the group.

Ella started a bean plant at school, and here she is transplanting it.
Of course, she checks on it daily.

We took a walk to Auntie and Uncle Scottie's house (where Ella was practicing her no-training-wheels bike riding!!!); they were scrubbing down Scott's Harley. The kids, Owen especially, were in hog heaven (ha!). Owen even got a 20-foot ride. Awesome dude.

  1. So fun! Don't you just crave homegrown veggies sometimes? There is definitely a difference between homegrown and store bought. And, you're so adorable...thank you for commenting on all of my posts-you rock!!! At least I know one person is reading them! ;-) -Molly
