The chicks were much bigger than the photos we've seen! They're already starting to get their white feathers... we were surprised that they start on the wing tips. As soon as the weather stays warm at night, they'll be moved to their coop (tractor). Katie's eagerly awaiting this, as there are apparently a few escape artists. (o:
Tim was so patient with all the kids, and made sure everyone got a turn with petting and feeding. What joy we witnessed on our children's faces that morning! And they can't stop talking about those chicks. It's so sweet.
Won't be so sweet in about 4 1/2 more weeks, though... (o:
