We went back to the awesome orchards out in Hastings that we've visited since college... blissful, carefree fall days don't get any better than this. I told Erica (who joined us with Matthew) that I look forward to this all year, even more so than Christmas. No gifts, no racing around. Just good old-fashioned fun with our kids. And those Honeycrisp apples are a gift themselves... de-lish!
