On a brighter note, Owen seems like he's trying to speak now. It's awesome! He points to things and says the beginning sounds. He also smiles his devilish grin every second and thus gets what he wants anyway.
Lately the girls are so obsessed with Little People (LP) that I have been forced to put these toys in a day-long time-out on occasion. They really play well with them, pretending and such, but now and then a bitter fight breaks out about who has Michael or Sonja Lee (those are LPs for those of you who don't keep up) and how one is supposed to be at the doctor but he's not! And then someone takes a LP or hits or something totally uncharacteristic (yeah, right) and crying/howling/screaming commences. My patience for that is basically gone. With the basement in ruins we have less space for play, esp. since Nonie refuses to play outdoors if it's less than 60 degrees. (And she didn't even live in CA! Where'd she get that?!?) So more fights are happening. Good thing they all do generally get along and are little sweeties most of the time. And they really do light up our lives, LP disasters and all.
