So what's up with Nonie?

Well, our sweet little Nonie has been having a rough time in the world lately. Seems she'd rather cry than do just about anything else (except maybe eat ice cream). She screams/cries/whimpers about six-eight times a day (5-20 min. intervals) right now, which makes for a pretty miserable family. Poor thing. Poor Ella and Owen, too. They're champs about it, though. We have no idea what's going on. She won't tell us what the problem is. Sometimes something will set her off... can't get her shirt on, doesn't want Ella to touch her, etc. Other times it's just random. So we're looking at her sleep schedule, her diet, her personality. I have been trying, really really trying, to be patient and kind, but everyone has their off days. Is it a phase? Is this just who she is? Only the man upstairs knows, and hopefully He will fill our family with an unending fountain of patience if this is how Norah was made to be.

Anyway, she's not aggressive or anything; just wants to be held mostly. She can't calm herself down to sleep well either... needs someone to lay by her, rub her back, etc. So that's why we need prayers for her. She really is quite wonderful and so darn funny. She needs to get her groove back! Thanks.

  2. Poor Norah...we'll keep her (and all of you---especially Mommy in our prayers). Hang in there...this too, shall pass!

  3. You forgot Poor Mommy! I know that must be taking a lot of emotional energy to stay positive and patient. They are blessed to have you! I will be there in a week or so to give you a big hug!! -Cyndi
