The weather has been less than ideal here, and we have had our first colds of the season, but we're still finding ways to have fun! Here are Owen and Norah doing some golf ball and marble painting... Ella recently did this at school, so we thought it was time to try it at home again.
Dress-up and tea party time! Owen was a champ... he wore a ladybug costume for about three minutes, a straw hat for two and carried a Minnie Mouse purse for about 30 seconds. The girls didn't mind his casual attire! The "tea" and graham crackers always taste better from fancy cups. I am glad they're enjoying some inside time, but as the cold weather approaches, I sure hope we have some nicer weather in the forecast! We need to get out and enjoy Fall before it's over.
P.S...I am heading to AZ for a long weekend next week, and can't wait! I am meeting my dear, dear friend, April, who lives in CA. We are going to eat, chat, drink, chat, hike, chat, sleep, chat and probably chat a little, too. It's been a long time since we've had time together without our kids! A HUGE thank you to Paul for making this happen. I know the kids will have a blast with Daddy, and I expect he will be exhausted come Sunday night. (o:

Oooooo, thanks for the great ideas!
