We love our friends!

We just had a couple of great visits with friends recently, and feel so blessed to be near them. Here are Paul and Andy, an old OLD friend, having a laugh before the Vikings game.

High school (and before that!!) friends Carla and Erin were here, too. The wine was flowing and so were the good conversation and laughs.

Erin and Andy have two kids very close in age to our kids, thus making them perfect playmates! The girls and Marcie played upstairs most of the afternoon... dress-up and playing in the cottage were on the top of their to-do list.

Typical two-year-old boys... jumping, pounding, pushing and pseudo-chatting. Drake really enjoyed the trampoline, and Owen loved reminding him "One kid at a time!" (Drake
already knew this rule from home!!)

The next day we drove to St. Louis Park to meet the newest member of St. Olaf friend Molly's family... little Drew. What a doll! You can see his big sister is an angel, too. The picture I took of her other son, Nolan, didn't turn out well... sorry buddy! Same goes for Owen.

More dress-up time, of course, as well as dancing along to "The Lawrence Welk Show." For those of you who laugh, put it on for your little ones. It's a squeaky clean kid-magnet!

This one is just cute... Nonie exploring with a magnifying glass.

I love that our kids have such nice adults and children in their lives. Good role models are few and far between, and we're grateful!
