This little experiment is now into week four. Although we had one chicken that was limping around the coop a few days ago, he must have just had a leg that fell asleep. All 30 are doing well again. (And to think that I almost grabbed that chicken to introduce him to Mr. Hatchet.)
Big weekend coming up, the birds are moving to their outdoor chicken tractor that Paul built for them. Fresh air, more space, and chicken help by eating a tremendous amount of ticks.
As you can see in the attached photo, chickens are a lot like me. They get uglier as they get older."

Yes, they definitely get uglier with age! I guess that makes it not quite as hard to think about on dooms day...isn't that awful of me to say?
