Another update from our chickenman, Tim:
"Greetings:
Here we are….over half way through this chicken fiasco and my wife and I are still together!
Weekly Highlights:
- Roger and my dad were available last Saturday to help move the chickens to their outdoor coop. Extra man-power was key.
- Despite 40 mile/hour wind gusts, Paul’s well-built coop continues to handle the elements with ease.
- Roger found an old rain gutter in his neighbor’s garage, so we didn’t have to buy a nice new one. This type of resourcefulness is what keeps our cost per pound to a minimum.
Weekly Lowlight:
- Came very close to running over a chicken while moving the coop for the first time. I’m still looking for a solution to the problem….
Still 30/30. That’s an A+ in the academic realm. Pictures are attached.
