So here's the deal: we, as a family, will watch one game on Sunday (likely the Packers if on) all together. And I will make food that is native to the other team's city/state. This will be fun, yes? Today was the first game (Philadelphia Eagles vs. Packers), and I decided to stick with a few cream cheese ideas (no-brainer). The first was a really well received dip called Fiesta Cracker Spread (http://www.recipe.com/fiesta-cracker-spread/ ). Tasty! Recipe #2 was a cream cheese-based cookie called Melt in Your Mouth Chocolate Cookies. Five ingredients. Very sticky to make, but again, cheers all around! Here's that one:
Cook time: 10 minutes Total time: 25 minutes Servings: 32
- 1 box devils food cake mix with pudding
- 4 ounce(s) of cream cheese
- 2 cup(s) of cool whip
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup(s) of powdered sugar
- Mix first four ingredients together 2. Roll into individual 1 in. balls 3. Roll balls in powdered sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet 4. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees
Bon Apetit!
