Our Advent calendar's "family fun thing" today was Go ice skating. So we did! It was everyone's first time; Owen wore his boots and the girls laced up their double-runners. They had a ball and are already planning the next trip to the nearby rec center for some more figure 8's.
This rec center's ice rink was great; had a warming room, this contraption for balancing, free skates if you need 'em. What a find!
