At Christmastime my sweet Auntie Mary sent the kids this awesome book, "The Three Snow Bears" by Jan Brett, and we have read it almost every day since its arrival. It's a clever Ukrainian twist on Goldilocks. Today we decided to make it into a puppet show, and it was a hit! Even Owen got into the fun for awhile. The best part was hearing the kids say their parts, "Someone's been sleeping in my bed," etc. and making their puppets walk and dance. The teacher in me was proud... the mom too, of course. Thank goodness we have a copier here... made for quick puppets. (o:
