When our niece Nicole was here, we took her to the MN Zoo. She is slightly obsessed with giraffes, and as luck would have it, we could feed the giraffes that day (for a small fee, of course!). She helped the kids feed their graham cracker-like biscuits to the amiable animal who had the LONGEST tongue ever. It was thrilling, though mere seconds long. (And yes, all the kids did it, but the pictures look about the same...)
