Weekend High: A great playdate with some new friends from church. The kids played well together (see dress-up above) and the mom, Cara, and I have so much fun together.
Weekend Low: Having two kids with high fevers. Owen and Nonie both had 103 and 104 fevers, but no other symptoms. Grr!
Weekend High: Getting some time away in Eau Claire with our family; seeing my dad and stepmom, as well as Paul's mom, our friend Kurt and the Skutley family.
Weekend Low: Breaking my toe while falling down the stairs at Kurt's house! Argh. So painful and embarrassing. It's a nice deep purple now. And no, I did not include a photo of that!
Weekend High: Celebrating Ben Skutley's 2nd birthday with the Skutley family. We saw so many members of their families that we hadn't seen for awhile, and it felt good to reconnect. And the girls couldn't get enough of his little sister, Anna!
I guess there are more highs than lows on this list, so it must have been a good weekend overall! Tell my darned toe that, though. (o:
