MN History Center

We had a blast at the MN History Center last Friday. Went with our friends Cara, Isabella and Ben, and she was clever enough to get free passes from the library, so it was even better! Thanks, Cara.

History intrigues me, but I am no buff. This place was great because all around you are ways to learn and get excited about the history of MN. We enjoyed the grain elevator where the kids were supposed to pretend to be corn or wheat (mostly they just climbed and jumped around), and they sat in an old horse-drawn buggy. There was an awesome exhibit about how Minnesotans handle the weather, esp. in this cold winter. I had very low expectations going here, because who knows how much there will actually be for the kids to do? But it was well worth it and I plan to go back, both with and without the kids!
