Paul gave Nonie (and the others by default) a greenhouse starter kit for her birthday. This week he helped them plant some flowers and basil, and they are ready for spring! Nonie keeps looking at them to see if they've sprouted yet, but hasn't gotten discouraged yet. They are just so excited to see this process happen, and then replant them outside in their own little spot in the backyard. I, too, am ready for the spring part!
What a cute idea! Way to go, Paul! Fresh basil is AWESOME in salads, bruschetta, salsas, guac...yum!
