Randomness

I feel like randomness best describes our lives right now (as well as the way these photos uploaded!). We're busy with preschool decisions (we didn't get into the co-op one I really wanted), new member stuff at our church, fitting in playdates and fun along with LOTS of discipline (the kids are pushing buttons I didn't even know I had!), as well as literally not being able to find half of our "kid" stuff as we delve further into the basement remodel. All of the toys that were once neatly housed (hidden) in the basement toy room are now strewn about the house and I am forever scrounging around the open crevices of the basement looking for that lost marker or glitter glue pen.

On the upside, we are officially well again. Owen still has that blasted runny nose, which Uncle Scottie will tell you he was born with, and is getting three more teeth. He should be a shark at this point, I swear! Paul took the beginning of this week off to work in the basement, and I know he worked hard. He was sound asleep every night before 10, which is in his world, exhaustion.

All this random chaos is teaching me the truth behind the "Don't sweat the small stuff" adage. It'll all get finished and put away eventually, and fretting about it only wastes this precious time we have together. I need to go kiss my kids now... have a joyful day!
