Inside, Outside

Camping inside or blowing bubbles, we're finding ways to have some fun in this crazy March weather. The other day it was so chilly and rainy, and the kids were growing restless being indoors. I made them a little fort, and they were off! It became their camping tent and they had to turn off all the lights and close curtains so they could use their lanterns in their tent. The fireplace was the campfire where they made s'mores. It was so cute.

This morning it was a bit warmer and with the rain holding off, we took a walk. The girls brought their strollers and babies and we searched for squirrels and random patches of snow. They rediscovered a bunch of last year's outside toys once we got home, and had a nice time fooling around in the backyard. Owen has taught his sisters to dig in the mulch (our favorite) and they all busied themselves burying the stepping stones in the yard. The girls are getting pretty good at blowing bubbles now, too. Thank God for the change in seasons! It seems just when we can't handle the cold anymore, spring begins to quietly set in.

  1. How lucky Norah and Ella are to have each other...what fun times they must have together (most days, right)!? I love your tent---thanks for the good idea! ;-)
